TTG Panic Gallery (Free)
TTG Panic Gallery is a gallery template for the Adobe Lightroom Web module incorporating codefidelty’s Panic Coda Navigation Tutorial, based on the groovy tricks on Panic’s Coda website.
Because the gallery loads thumbnails and full size images together into a single page, the gallery is really geared towards smaller presentations. But it’s your truck; load it how you like, and look good doing it.
The gallery supports TTG XML Auto Index and CoolIris, and is fully customizable.

Thanks for a very nice gallery!
I was just missing to make more then 5 “Menu Item” is that possible??
And it would be nice to use the arrow-key to go through the pictures!
Regarding the number of menu items, presently no; in the future, yes. An upcoming new release will shed some light on this.
I agree it would be nice to use the arrow keys as a navigation option, but not quite sure how to do that one …
I love this simple and effective little gallery. It is absolutely my favorite and I would really like to use it for my website, but I can not get my header to match the one that I created in TTG Pages. I need to be able to center the navigation and also change the color and symbol used for the navigation divider, like the pipe | that splits the navigation bar. Is there any chance that you would be able to fix this in a snap by replacing the Panic Gallery navigation and and header code with the code from TTG pages navigation and header setup code, so that they have the same options and function the same? Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Brenden
That would be a pretty massive update, as it would require a number of other changes as well. TTG Panic Gallery being a freebie is at the bottom to my to-do list, so that’s not likely to happen any time soon. I just have too much other work of higher priority. I’d like to update it one of these days, but it’s going to be a while.
Well, I am really looking forward to that update when you get around to it. This is the best gallery I have come across to date and everyone I have showed it to seems to agree, please do your best to keep up with it. If you could simply add an option to center the navigation, that alone would help so much. Let me know if that is feasible. Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Brenden
Sadly, it’s not feasible in this version. To do that, the entire header needs to be rewritten. With any luck, things will settle down some soon and I will get to work on updates to some of my languishing creations. If you have not already subscribed to my RSS feed, please do so. It’s the best way of staying up to date with the site. Twitter is also an option to keep up, if you use it.
Thank you for your prompt reply, and for answering my questions. I will definitely subscribe to your RSS feed. Hope to see some updates to this in the near future. Have a good day!
Sincerely,
Brenden
Oh, I forgot to mention that there is also this odd little transparent dark square that follows my mouse cursor around when I roll over the image with the cursor. It is about 45 degrees to the bottom left of my cursor, and about an inch or so away from it. Sorry to keep adding to the list, haha. Thanks Matt.
Sincerely,
Brenden
That’s the caption background for an empty caption. Turn captions off.
I love your TTG Simpleviewer and use it for all my galleries, but it would be nice to have the thumbnails as the shape of the images, which is why I am intrigued by your Panic Gallery.
Two questions. Is there a way to incorporate it into a regular web page that already has menu on the left, stuff at the top and bottom, etc., etc. I would like to put the gallery in the part of the page, but when I tried it, I clearly did something wrong, as it looked like a disaster.
What part of the gallery code do I paste into the section? and what do I need to update as far as links go? This may also lead to the question, should I put the gallery into a “Gallery” folder, or some such, as I do with the paid TTG web engine I have?
One final question: there is a blank thumbnail square that botches my idea of a neat 4×4 thumbnails section. Why do I need this, and can I remove it? If so, where? I am very familiar with HTML, so am not afraid of it. Just need to know where to start.
Thank you for your great resources!

Hi Margo,
Honestly, it’s been ages since I so much as looked at the Panic Gallery, and so my memory is shaky on the details. I think it’s one of the least friendly in terms of ripping it apart and embedding it into existing designs, but you’re welcome to try. I try to keep my galleries as orderly as possible, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to rip things out of it at the code level; the header and footer should go easily enough, if nothing else. The info pane can be removed manually according to this tutorial, which also explains why it’s there to begin with.
OK, scratch Panic Gallery. What if I want to put my TTG Simpleviewer 2.01 into a web page. What code do I copy into the section and what links do I need to update?
Thanks,
TBC
You’ll need to use SWFObject.js to embed the gallery. If you’re using TTG Stage, that will produce the necessary code, or you can explore the source code in my sample gallery.
