Installation for all web engines is the same.
-
Download and extract the template zip archive.
-
Copy the archive contents to one of the following destinations, depending upon your system. If you have not already done so, you will need to create the Web Galleries folder manually.
On Mac
Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Web Galleries/On Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries\On Windows Vista
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries\In Windows XP, the “Application Data” directory is usually hidden. You must enable “show hidden folders” in the folder options before you can browse to it.
-
Open Adobe Lightroom and access the Web module. In the upper right, under “Engine”, you should see the newly installed gallery, as shown below, highlighted in orange.

love AI.
I worked really hard getting my website going with Autoindex 2.01
Now that I upgraded to 3.1 how do transfer my Lightroom web template to use it without having to rebuild my whole template?
Sorry in advance if I am missing something really simple here!
Eric
@Eric
Unfortunately, you will need to reconstruct the gallery from scratch. The engine was completely overhauled for 3.0, and the old template information will not carry over.
Hi Matt
Can you please tell me I have “high side gallery pro 1.7” now I have a grip on some of the the working of this but Im having issues
1_in Lr –web When I click the gallery index in High side pro the whole screen goes White I have to log out of Lr . and get back in and don’t touch that button the About and Contact buttons do nothing when I click on to it ?
Am wondering if this facilities is disabled in High side pro ? Or is it an option that I need also to purchase TTG pages 3.1 as well so that I can use this as a web site with the gallery if that s the case I have no problem doing so but I need some kind of advise on what I need to do
Thank you so much
@mac
Those pages are not a part of the Highslide Pro template; the menu items, by default, are setup for use with TTG Pages. The menus will link to pages when TTG Pages and TTG Highslide Gallery Pro are exported and merged online according to the instructions. If you are not using TTG Pages, then you can disable or change these menu items.
Doesn´t Shadowbox 287 and Slimbox 281 work in Windows 7 x64 and Lightroom 2.5 x64? They do not show up under “Engine” and when I klick on a user template (Slimbox) I get a sign that says the galleri (id=’net.theturninggate.web.Slimbox’) is missing. And when I klick on a user template (Shadowbox) I get a sign that says the galleri (id=’net.theturninggate.web.Shadowbox’) is missing.
Regards
Mats
If installed properly, there’s no reason they shouldn’t work. The reason the templates would return errors is because the engines are not installed to the proper location, which is also the reason they do not show up in the Engines list. Please check the installation instructions from the main site menu regarding install locations for your operating system.
I am using a mac with LR 2. Each time I try to install the demo it tells me there was an error installing. It does not show up in my web module. Please help!
Hi- I have this problem where the right-hand side of the TTG HighSlide Gallery PRO 1.8 engine is cut off by the edge of Lightroom. No matter how wide I try to expand the engine column the far right hand side of all the items in the “Site Info” panel are cut off and I’m not able to see color boxes, pixel dimension sizes, text etc that are over there. The other panels like “Color Palette” and “Appearance” are fine but there’s a lot of info on the “Site Info” that I’d like to see that is being cut off. Any help? (I’m using Lightroom 2.4 on mac OS 10.5.8)
@Stacy:
Do not install by double-clicking the .lrwebengine package; please follow the manual installation instructions.
@Joe:
My video on Web module basics should get you straightened out.
Hi,
I have purchased pages for LR 2 on Mac. I have installed this, shows up in LR, but I have two problems:
first it does not keep the jpg’s as selected and named in album thumnail in”site info”. How to solve this?
And second, I do not get the galleries working. I have made them, put them in the right map, exported, selected them in appearence, but simply do not show up. (I also tried to upload with Filezilla; no difference),What to do, what to do…Thanks!
Kind Regards,
Eric
What gallery are you trying to use?
I tried airtight simple viewer, TTG simple viewer, and panic gallery.
@theturninggate
Then if you drop gallery folders exported using either TTG Simpleviewer or TTG Panic Gallery into the /galleries/ folder created by TTG Pages, then put the whole thing online … the galleries will appear in the gallery index. This assumes, of course, that your server supports PHP.
Thanks, it’s working now. Bu another question: how do I put multiple simple-galleries into the Gallery-webpage?
Also, it does not keep the jpg’s as selected and named in album thumnail in”site info”. How to solve this?
@Eric
That stuff is for use with TTG Auto Index or TTG Pages, and is used to fill in the box for the gallery’s entry in the index. You can set the thumbnail path relative to the gallery root, so it should usually be entered as “thumbnails/image.jpg”.
You cannot put multiple Simpleviewer galleries on one page. You need to export each gallery as a folder, and move that folder into your gallery index.
I do not get it:
1. have installed TTG pages demo.
2. selected 3 images
3. exported
…and the only thing I get is galleries that contain thumbnails, and photos folders. No html pages anywhere.
Help!
As stated on the download page, the TTG Pages demo does not allow export. You can fully design your site within Lightroom, save as a template and later apply those settings to the purchased version. Only the purchased version allows you to export your pages.
I purchased the iPhone gallery ($5) and got it to work with a quick test upload. I see to get the contact form to work will cost me $29 because I’m a business (Professional Fine Art Photography). Is that $29 one time? Would one $29 payment work for my iphone galleries as well as my web galleries?
@Dave Ness
I assume you are referring to the Highslide JS licensing fee.
The $29 Highslide license is for a single domain and will allow you unlimited use of Highslide JS on that domain. This is a one-time fee.
Several TTG galleries utilize Highslide JS, including TTG Highslide Gallery, TTG Highslide Gallery Pro, TTG Client Response Gallery and TTG iPhone Portfolio. Your license would validate usage of all these galleries on your domain.
For multiple domains, you would need to purchase either an additional license for the new domain, or the Commercial Unlimited license.
For further information on licensing Highslide JS, I refer you to http://www.highslide.com.

Hi,
I purchased your TTG pages and the Highslide Pro gallery. Beautiful work and I can’t wait to get all on-line!
The problem I am having is that when I export my TTG pages I am not getting any html, just the photos and galleries folder. I deleted the demo web engine and installed the real version after I made the purchase.
Any help would be appreciated.
Fred
Hi Fred,
This should only be a problem if the demo version is still installed. Please double-check the demo has been removed, then install a fresh copy of the purchased engine.
I’ve been trying. And failing to find one simple piece of information regarding the setup of TTG Pages.
Somewhere, at some time, you explained what information got hidden behind the ID Plate for SEO access (that wouldn’t be displayed on the heading or elsewhere on the site).
I’ve rewatched every tutorial you made available and reread everything I could find for both TTG Pages and TTG Highslide Pro — including all of your introductory topics on You Tube. And I still can’t find it.
Can you please tell me where to find this information, or – better – relate it yourself?
Also, my host (1and1) does have php installed and I thought I could fill out the fields in the contact form and mail would be sent. I must have missed something because the mail I sent myself never arrived.
Is there a logging function for tracing activity? Did I overlook something simple in the setup or do I have to purchase the php mail scripts separately?
Mark
Hi Mark,
I am familiar with 1and1 and have successfully hosted several sites made using TTG engines on their servers.
The information on SEO is here: http://lightroom.theturninggate.net/2009/06/search-engine-optimization-ttg-highslide-gallery/
For issues relating to the Form-to-Email script, please contact support at http://www.formtoemail.com.
Cheers,
Matt
Guy, this template is simply the best, hope you continue creating things always so fabulous.
I am interested in this gallery however I have been unable to find a way to get the gallery to restrict the amount of images on one page. 500 images on one page seems excessive for a wedding gallery. I enjoy the paypal shopping cart features but I was hoping for a multipage feature.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Matthew, I recently purchased the TTG Slimbox upgrade after downloading the DEMO. I deleted the DEMO (Using MAC) but LR refuses to let go! Everytime I open LR and go to the Web module, it lists the DEMO in the engine drop down. I did a search with the MAC and the DEMO does not show up anywhere on the hard drive… I am at a loss.
Not to mention panicked because I use your wonderful Slimbox gallery for a client. They are now expecting me to put their gallery on line and a I can’t do it!
PLEASE help
thank you
Go to your Web Galleries folder and delete the Slimbox web engine. Run Lightroom to verify the removal. Quit Lightroom, then install the purchased version of the web engine. Run Lightroom again to verify the installation. If you’re installed the correct version of the engine, you should find that it is not the demo.
that is the problem. I have done all that, several times in fact, including running a permissions check on my Mac, re-booting yada yada. But to no avail, every time I launch LR (holding my breath) that sneaky DEMO is still listed in the engine drop down.
Could there be some snippet of code lurking somewhere that is doing this?
Thank you SO much for your quick reply, Pam
If the DEMO version is still showing in Lightroom, it’s because the DEMO version is still installed into your Web Galleries folder. That is the ONLY possible way for this to happen, and the fix is to simply manage the contents of your Web Galleries folder.
hi Matthew
how do i create my galleries for each albums using shadowbox and ttg pages?
Is it possible to cancel the rectangular hover everytime i point the mouse over the pictures?
thank you very much
You can disable the hover tips via the Color Palette control pane.
I don’t understand your question about albums …
I’m a newbie at this. I have a top level directory I call websites. My directory sits with its index.html file in this directory. Each gallery that I’ve put on my site is then just one folder below this top level “websites” folder. so: /websites/2010Cozumel/index.html is the start of my Cozumel gallery which I’ve generated with Highslide Gallery Pro. I want to replace my HOME page with the output of AUTO INDEX which I’ve just purchased. When I exported as suggested, I had to give it a name and so called it GALLERY… i.e. /websites/gallery and now I see an index.php in that gallery folder and I cannot seem to do anything with it.
I figure I have my directory structure completely backwards, and so am looking for some help here on how to get going. Another problem is that my hosting service is on Windows Server and I suspect they don’t support php. I need some help…
Thanks Lee
PHP is required; check with your host.
Otherwise, just put the Highslide gallery folders inside the auto index folder. The script takes care of the rest.
